The history
Il Cavallino was founded in 1968 in the heart of the Modena district, a place where ceramics is not just a material, but a cultural heritage made up of passion, craftsmanship and creativity. This is where our story begins: glazed and hand-decorated double-fired floor and wall tiles, surfaces designed to accompany everyday life with beauty and authenticity.
Over the years, our journey has evolved, expanding our skills and vision. From 2008 to 2015, we introduced red single-fired tiles, before dedicating ourselves to developing porcelain stoneware collections designed exclusively for our brand and now produced by our parent company, Tuscania Ceramiche.
Despite the change, our DNA remains the same: a harmonious balance between tradition and technology, between artisan craftsmanship and contemporary design. Each collection is a story told through textures, colours and details that come to life through experience, aesthetic sensibility and continuous research.
Today, the Il Cavallino Ceramica Artistica range is made entirely of porcelain stoneware, a material that reflects our ongoing pursuit of quality and innovation.
